Chocolate Souffle Recipe Chocolate Lovers Favorite!
This chocolate souffle recipe, is THE most popular and favorite dessert in our household. Benji and Ayala are complete chocolate lovers, and could eat chocolate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Oh, and dessert. Since this recipe is melt-in-your-mouth delicious, I added it to our Rosh Hashana dessert menu.
You’re welcome, my lovely family, and the guests we’re having for lunch, when my chocolate souffle`s will be served.
My sister Tehilla and I used to live door to door next to each other. One of the many benefits of chilling in each others houses was getting to see what the other was baking, or cooking. We’ve traded many recipes over the years.
One Thursday afternoon, as Tehilla was preparing for Shabbat, I went over and sat in her kitchen while she was baking…. The idea of home-made chocolate souffle`s never even occurred to me, it was a cafe or restaurant type of fancy shmancy dessert. And there she was, whipping up and baking these heavenly smelling chocolate souffles.
Needless to say, the recipe was sent to my WhatsApp immediately. The rest is history. Or present, and future.
I always over-bake and I’m not a huge fan of freezing food. I’ve sent leftover desserts to work with Benji MANY times over the years…. However, chocolate souffles are FREEZER SAFE and a great dessert to prepare in advance of a long holiday. (Sorry Leibish & co. these are staying home!) In fact, the last time I made these, Naama was pulling one out of the freezer every so often for a few weeks.Obviously, you got to heat it up…
I’ll be serving the chocolate souffles along with my peanut butter chocolate chip ice cream Totally recommended!
